Annual School Reports
According to Vermont State Law, one of powers and responsibilities of a school board is produce an annual report on the "conditions and needs of the district school system." This report must be distributed to the public at least 10 days prior to the annual town meeting. In Springfield, this report is compiled, on behalf of the board, by the Superintendent's office. These reports are released to the public in paper at the Town Office, each of the schools, the Central Office and online. This report was released in the winter in anticipation of the March Informational Town Meeting and subsequent vote.
